Calling Our Support Line

Calling a number without knowing who’s going to be on the other end of the line can be scary. Here’s what you can expect when you reach out to our support line:

  • Each of our advocates will meet you with empathy and understanding.

  • Our advocates will not judge you based on your situation.

  • Our advocates will ask you some more questions about what’s going on so that they can provide the best care possible.

  • You will be met with honesty about the capacity of our advocates as well as what services we can provide you.

  • You may be asked if you’d like to complete an intake so that you can receive further services from us. This is not required if you’d simply like to remain an anonymous caller. We will never pressure you into doing this.

  • Above all, our advocates will meet you where you’re at, whether that’s currently in an abusive relationship, trying to flee one, or recovering from one that you were previously in.
